Wish we had bought this earlier. Very easy for the birds to step up onto the perch and get weighed. They were only suspicious of it the first time and now they hop up on it very willingly. It is a great way to keep track of their weight which is a window into the health of our birds, which is crucial as birds tend to hide illness.

great product, used it while converting my budgie on to pellets. the perch is great, each dowel is a different size so it works with my budgies, cockatiel, green cheek conures and caique

The scale was very accurate, I tested it with a dozen nickles because they weight 5 grams. Every time I tried it the scale read that it was 5 grams. The only downside is that it has to be on a flat/hard surface to work properly and any movement from your parrot will throw it off a little. Once your parrot settles down it gives an accurate reading and is a great scale.
