Not Bad, Not What I Expected

I’ve never had an A&E cage so I think I was expecting it to be closer to King’s quality. The finish is nice and I really like the color. I will say the feeder door locks are a real inconvenience. They cannot be pushed closed and you have to use two hands to open or close them, one to hold the whole cage still. Also, the knobs cannot be tightened down (the latch will not move) and if it’s not wrenched down, any decent escape artist will be able to disassemble the whole thing by twisting the knob.
This was the only brand name cage I was able to find that wasn’t $1000.00 and had a few of the specifications I was looking for.
I was very happy to learn that Quill & Roost donates a portion of the proceeds to my favorite rescue, and that that was the deciding factor to buying this cage from you. I may be buying another one in a few days.
